Title: Fantastic Place for a Family Stay

My children wanted to have more activities specifically catered to them.

Booked a room with perfect views of the garden. The location was marvellous and fantastic, for example, An der Obertrave was within walking distance of the hotel...

great-sized and airy rooms were nicely furnished with view on the water. the breakfast offered was rich with selections to choose from, cakes, couldn't have asked for more. as for me, the location was beautiful, right by the main train station and a pond that's part of the waterways surrounding the old part of town.

Cozy room with a private bathroom at a good price. Conveniently located in a quiet area near charming old town eateries and the city center 🏨.

The warm welcome and friendly and helpful attitude of the staff. They offered a delicious breakfast buffet on our late arrival. The room was ready earlier than we anticipated. We were also given a huge lunch package for our journey as we left fairly early.

Stayed in the guesthouse across the road. Really nice room. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

The free WiFi was a big plus for me, as it allowed me to stay connected with friends and family during my stay. The private bathroom with a shower was convenient and ensured that I had a refreshing start to my day. I loved that the room was nicely furnished, giving it a charming and homely touch. The TV in the room was a nice addition for some relaxing downtime after a long day of exploring. The spacious room had a separate seating area, which was perfect for unwinding and enjoying a cup of tea.

Personally, I would have preferred a bathtub instead of just a shower in the bathroom.

The staff was very kind and pleasant. The breakfast was good.

It was a hotel without elevator so we had to go 7 stairs up to our room.

The staff and location of Hotel zur Alten Stadtmauer were wonderful. I was booked for one night and ended up staying for two nights.They had a terrific breakfast buffet. I had been to Lubeck several times in the last 25 years but this was my first time in this part of town and it was great being in this attrractive, historic part of the city. I would gladly return there in future.

Friendly service and private parking are available here. Opted for a suite and was happy I did - it was spacious and had a nice breeze. 🚗

Friendly, personal. But not for those with poor feet.

Great location in a lovely town. Friendly staff and a spacious comfortable, room. The breakfasts were excellent. Would not go anywhere else in Lubeck!

The three flights of stairs to reach the room could have been difficult for some people. (This is not a complaint - just a comment)

The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring Lübeck's historic sites and attractions, including the famous Holstentor gate and the stunning cathedral. I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities in my room, especially the free WiFi which made staying connected a breeze. The hotel offers a rich breakfast buffet that was definitely worth waking up for, providing a great start to the day. The staff were professional and helpful, providing tour and ticket assistance when needed. The hotel has a charming terrace where guests can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

No refrigerator in the room.

Pleasent feel about the place. Well treated at breakfast.

Very difficult to get to without clear directions. The one-way system meant we knew where to go, but couldn't get there. The hotel supplied a map with clear instructions, but not until we got there - very frustrating.
